Throughout the year SBIHM hosts a wide range of student related activities like particpating in
Institutes annual Cultural Festival to prove their talent in music , song , dance etc , Food Festival to prove their multi skills talent and study tour to prove their organizing abilities.

SBIHM has introduced two Deluxe Buses of its own to pick up and drop the students from hostels to Campus and back to save time at affordable price. This facilities can be availed by day scholar Students as well.

COMPUTER LAB

SBIHM has its own computer learning outlet exclusively for the use of its students. The Lab provides all round computing service for the students and is equipped with modern
software , multimedias. The lab is well connected to internet and the students can explore cyberspace to gain valuable datas & information.

FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE LAB

Named as "Gharana " this outlet highlight the intrecacies of becoming a trained & professional F & B service personnel. They are taught how to handle & supervise different big events in hotel industry & corporate sectors. Every care is taken for a student to learn under the watchful eyes of the faculties in bar making International & National cocktails & mocktails and servicing of beverages are demonstrated perfectly.

FOOD PRODUCTION LAB

The Food & Beverage production area has two sections. One ,we have a large Quantity
Training Kitchen (QTK) and a Basic Training Kitchen (BTK).
The section has a large bakery andconfectionary section. Well equipped with modern
tools both the section highlight in depth training of culinary art. The budding
master chefs are taught the safety ,hygience& maintenance of the base kitchen

HOUSE KEEPING LAB

The housekeeping lab is entirely designed to meet every need of guest with chambers maid trolley. Along with this the lab also include specialized areas like Laundry Operation & room management.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES:
SBIHM provides its student varied leisure and recreational facilities like Educational Excursion tours which is compulsory. The Institute also offers sports activities like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Swimming and indoor games to keep students healthy and physically fit.
